White Walls

The walls are bare again,

The space blanketed with memories of what was,

What could have been was beautiful,

But all that’s left is white walls and ashes

The cliffs crumbled,

Flirted with danger on the cliff’s edge,

The ocean came in and claimed it,

The wind caught my fall,

Heights once travel

Reflection, shadows, raindrops and rainbows,

The valleys lead to the hill tops if you keep going

Broken glasses, silent screams,

Loud smiles, hard laughter,

Sunshine on your face,

Warming your soul,
